At most Dutch households, the Hela Kruiden Ketchup Curry has been passed down for generations, and we want to continue passing it on to future generations as well. As a family business, we hope to pass on the sauces for generations to come, together we are embarking on a future filled with flavorful and responsible moments.
Sustainable Development Goals
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are seventeen goals to make the world a better place in 2030. The goals were agreed upon by all 196 countries within the United Nations, including the Netherlands. We focus primarily on the three SDGs that fit well with our pillars.
Success together
We believe that together we are more successful. Therefore, in 2023 we are focusing on our internal environment so that our employees can become ambassadors of our CSR strategy. In 2024 we want to publish an CSR report with the activities we carried out in 2023 and our goals for 2024.

For us, CSR means making balanced choices between environmental, social, and financial aspects. Our mission is to bring people together and connect them as a flavor maker. Through this, we aim to create a food culture that is ready for the future. A food culture that is kind to the planet and humanity. The CSR pillars we will focus on in the coming years are: health, responsible supply chain, CO2 impact and successful together.
Good health and well-being
We consider mental and physical health to be very important. We strive to offer increasingly healthier product offerings. With these products, we aim to bring people together and connect them, thereby contributing to enhancing people’s well-being.
Responsible consumption and production
We would like to see this from farmer to plate. This is how we want to reduce the social responsibility risks and our impact on the planet.
Partnership to achieve goals
Success together. That is what we believe in. By entering into collaborations, we hope to strengthen our CSR strategy. But internal collaboration is also important for making our CSR strategy successful.
