Are you accurate, independent, and strong in administrative tasks? Do you enjoy well-organized financial administration and work well with colleagues? From accounts receivable and accounts payable to monitoring financial processes: you ensure that our organization’s financial foundation is in order. With your experience and communication skills, you are also a valuable sparring partner within the team.

Hela originally started as a supplier of herbs and spices and grew into the brand behind the well-known Hela Kruiden Ketchup Curry. Our range now includes sauces, dressings and spice mixes, which find their way to supermarkets, butcher shops, foodservice and industry.

What does the function look like?

As a Finance Employee, you are responsible for a wide range of tasks within our financial administration. You are responsible for, among other things:

• Debtor and creditor administration, including payments and monitoring;
• Processing of bank, cash, purchasing, sales and payroll records;
• Support with month-end and year-end closures and accounting audits;
• Preparing VAT and Intrastat declarations;
• Preparation of financial reports and overviews;
• Checking and investigating intermediate accounts;
• Managing fixed assets, inventory, cash flow and various administrative systems;
• Managing customer portals and Docuware;
• Processing of tax return lists and other financial controls;
• Support HR/Payroll related activities;
• Identifying and realizing improvements in financial processes.

This is what you can expect from yourself

• A completed mbo+ or hbo degree in a financial field;
• Experience in a similar financial position;
• You are accurate, independent, solution-oriented, and a true team player;
• You have an affinity with financial software and systems;
• You can make yourself understood in German and English;
• Experience with Business Central and Power BI is a plus;
• You are enthusiastic, driven, and open to further development.
